Working as a Sexual Health Registrar

By joining the Auckland Region as a Sexual Health Registrar, you will be joining an exciting sub-specialty. Surrounded by a team of experienced and supportive professionals, you will gain comprehensive experience in managing a range of cases and sexual health related conditions, including HIV. Although based at Greenlane Clinical Centre, you will also be working at the regional satellite clinics, which include Mangere, Glenfield and New Lynn.

Our training programme

Auckland Sexual Health is an accredited training site for the RACP, Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine. Presenting at journal clubs and participation in other departmental in-service meetings is expected as part of the job. Two non-clinical half days are allocated for knowledge development and for completion of administrative work associated with clinical cases.

What makes you Eligible?

You may be a Senior House Officer that would like to gain experience in Sexual Health to contribute to your Medicine, O&G or GP training.
